Széchenyi István University’s innovation ecosystem at ZalaZONE can be attractive for both foreign companies and research institutes - emphasized the scientific and technological attachés of the Hungarian embassies at the programme presenting to them the opportunities provided by the automotive test track.
The graduation ceremony was held at Széchenyi István University’s Albert Kázmér Faculty at Mosonmagyaróvár, where 113 graduating students had the honour of receiving their degree certificates at the prestigious event held on Friday, 7 July.

The capsule installed in the lobby allows to open an account safely and conveniently without the presence of a personal customer service representative. Ahead of the continent's most prestigious universities, the SZEnergy Team, a team of students from Széchenyi István University developing an electric vehicle, took first place in Europe's largest energy efficiency competition in the self-driving and city car categories, beating their own world record in the latter category from last year. Széchenyi István University, as an important player in drone research, together with ABZ Drone Kft. and MIB Invest Group Kft., has founded a drone development company, ABZ Innovation Kft. The company's innovation for the international market is the agricultural spraying drone, which performed exceptionally at the 90th anniversary International Agricultural Fair held recently in Serbia. According to experts, the drone development could be followed by further technological success stories based on the University's scientific innovations.
On the International Day of Yoga, Széchenyi István University held an event in cooperation with the Embassy of India in Hungary at the Management Campus building on the Győr campus. It was said at the event that yoga is not just a fashion, but also a way of life that can help us find peace of mind.
In 2015, the United Nations General Assembly declared 21 June as International Day of Yoga to raise awareness of the positive effects of yoga on physical and mental health. Since then, the Embassy of India in Hungary has regularly approached Széchenyi István University, with which it has a close relationship, to commemorate the World Day in Győr, and the institution has embraced the initiative every year.

Széchenyi István University serves the region with an ever-expanding portfolio of high quality education, including in the arts. Building on this, and on the internationally recognised dance tradition in Győr, which goes back several decades, the Hungarian University of Dance has launched a Bachelor of Dance and Rehearsal Management in Classical Ballet at the Győr institution. A system to reconstruct damaged or completely missing auricles without major surgery is being developed in cooperation between the Széchenyi István University of Győr, the University of Pécs and the University of Nuremberg. Models made with a 3D scanner will be shaped and moulded into the final form using image processing software.

The applications of artificial intelligence were in the centre of this year’s conference related to the telecommunications day which was organized at Széchenyi István University with around 400 participants. In addition to the lecturers-researchers of the institution, the event featured lectures by dr. Cosmas Zavazava, the director of the Telecommunication Development Bureau of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), several heads of the National Media and Infocommunications Authority (in short NMHH in Hungarian), as well as representatives of renowned companies in the sector.
